Pedro Bessa brings the bronze for Fokai reland at the
2008 NO GI World Tournament!
Pedro Bessa, an UK & Ireland based BJJ black belt, went to the World BJJ NO GI Tournament on the 9th and 10th of August of 2008. Pedro, who had been sponsored by Fokai Ireland for that tournament, came third in the black belts middle weight category and also did very well in the open class by winning his first fight and losing the second by only two points.
‘I would like to dedicate this medal to all my students whose have been supporting myself and also the guys that helped me financially such as Tony, from Fokai Ireland, Simon, from Bristol Dojo, and Damian, my student.’> Pedro is now back to the UK where he is back to the training routine where aiming for the upcoming tournaments such as Abu Dhabi, European and Worlds. ‘The bronze medal gave me a lot of motivation to keep train hard and hopefully I’ll bring more medals on thenext tournaments’
