Babes Can Build It: A Celebration of Women Empowering Each Other

This Friday, March 24, join Berlene San Nicolas, founder of The B’s Nest and Babes Can Build It, alongside Fokai Femme Achievers in celebrating the one-year anniversary of Babes Can Build It at Femme Friday. The event takes place from 6-9 p.m. at the Fokai Shop in Tumon on Fujita Road.

Berlene San Nicolas, a 34-year-old entrepreneur and DIY enthusiast, is passionate about empowering women through sharing her own experiences in her business, The B’s Nest. Her motto, Babes Can Build It, has garnered a strong following on Instagram, with almost 2,400 followers supporting her journey through home renovations and creative projects.

“There’s so much power in acknowledging the struggles,” says San Nicolas, who believes that transparency is key in inspiring others. One of her followers, a single mom of 5, shared her own story of empowerment: “You inspired me to use my boyfriend’s tools, and I have been able to tackle so many things around the house. I also started making small crafts, and they have been selling! Pallet wood and paint have helped me so much financially, and you really need to know the impact you have here.”

Celebrate Women’s Month with us at Femme Friday at The Fokai Shop / Field of Dreams and Road to Zion, Friday, March 24, from 6pm-9pm at the FOKAI shop in Tumon.
